1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using BuildOrQuit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

BuildOrQuit provides market research data and AI-powered analysis tools for startup idea validation. Our Service includes:

• Search demand analysis using third-party data providers
• Competitor intelligence gathered from publicly available sources
• Social sentiment analysis from public forums and platforms
• AI-generated insights, scores, and recommendations

3. Important Disclaimers

No guarantees of success: A high validation score does not guarantee your idea will succeed. A low score does not mean your idea will fail. Business success depends on execution, timing, market conditions, team capabilities, funding, and countless other factors beyond market data.

Data limitations: Our analysis is based on publicly available data and third-party APIs. Data may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Always verify critical information independently before making business decisions.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee with the following terms:

• Before report delivery: Full refund, no questions asked. If we haven't started processing your validation, you may cancel for a complete refund.
• After report delivery: Refunds are available only for data quality issues (e.g., we missed major competitors, search data appears incorrect). Contact us within 7 days with specific concerns, and we will either re-run your validation at no cost or issue a refund.
• Not eligible for refund: We do not refund because you didn't like your validation score or decided not to pursue the idea. The data is what it is—we provide research, not validation of your hopes.

Credits: Purchased credits are non-refundable but never expire. Subscription credits that roll over are subject to subscription terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our reports without permission
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from our Service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our scoring algorithms
• Submit fraudulent or misleading idea descriptions
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Abuse our refund policy by repeatedly requesting refunds after consuming reports

6. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of the idea descriptions you submit. By submitting an idea, you grant us a license to process it through our analysis systems.

Reports: Validation reports generated for you are yours to use, share, and include in presentations or pitch decks. You may not resell reports or use them for commercial data aggregation.

Our content: The BuildOrQuit platform, algorithms, branding, and methodology are our intellectual property and may not be copied or reproduced.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUILDORQUIT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any business decisions you make based on our reports
• Lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• Costs incurred building, launching, or operating a business
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific validation in question.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse our refund policy, or engage in fraudulent activity. You may delete your account at any time through your dashboard settings.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
